Name: ER4043 aluminum silicon welding wire
Standard: GB/T10858 SAI4043 AWS A5.1 ER4043
Composition: Si=4.5-6.0%; Iron≤0.8%; Aluminum balance.
Description: ER4043 is an aluminum-silicon alloy welding wire containing 5% silicon, with a melting point of 573-625°C, good fluidity and strong thermal cracking resistance, but insufficient ductility. Due to the high silicon content, when used for welding high magnesium alloys, brittle Mg2Si is easily formed in the weld, which reduces the plasticity and corrosion resistance of the joint. In addition, the surface color of the weld is darker, and the color of the base metal is different after anodizing.
Uses: Used as filling material for argon arc welding and gas welding of aluminum alloy workpieces and castings other than aluminum-magnesium alloys. Commonly used for welding 600 series aluminum alloys such as 6061, 3000 series, 2000 series and cast aluminum. Widely used in railway locomotive, chemical, food and other industries.

Description: ER5356 is an aluminum-magnesium alloy welding wire, containing 5% magnesium and a small amount of titanium, with fine grains and a melting point of 575-633°C. It has good corrosion resistance and thermal crack resistance, high strength and good forgeability. After anodizing treatment, the weld seam is still white, which can provide good color matching for welded joints, and is a general-purpose welding consumable with a wide range of uses.
