Calcium Carbonate(CaCO3) FOR PAPER COATING
Calcium Carbonate(CaCO3),It is used for making cement, ceramics, lime, calcium salt, toothpaste, dyes, pigments, mineral water, artificial stone, putty, neutralizer, catalyst, filler, medicine, etc.
It can be used as filler in rubber, plastic, paper making, putty, primer, paint, ink and other industries. It is widely used in organic synthesis, metallurgy, glass and asbestos production. It can also be used as neutralizer of industrial wastewater, antacid of gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, antidote of acidosis, sulfur dioxide remover in waste gas containing sulfur dioxide, dairy feed additive and anti adhesion agent of linoleum, etc. It can also be used as raw material for tooth powder, toothpaste and other cosmetics.

Solubility: insoluble in water, soluble in acid.
White powder, tasteless and odorless. There are two forms: amorphous and crystalline. The crystalline form can be divided into orthorhombic system and hexagonal system, which are columnar or rhombic. The relative density is 2.71. It decomposes at 825 ~ 896.6 ℃, the melting point is 1339 ℃, and the melting point is 1289 ℃ under 10.7Mpa. Insoluble in water and alcohol. It dissolves in acid and emits carbon dioxide at the same time, showing an exothermic reaction. Also soluble in ammonium chloride solution. It is stable in the air and has slight moisture absorption ability. It has good covering power.
Preparation method
Calcium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid to obtain calcium chloride, which is decolorized by activated carbon and filtered to remove impurities. Calcium chloride is carbonized with carbon dioxide in the presence of ammonia to obtain calcium carbonate, which is then crystallized, separated, washed, dehydrated and dried to obtain pure calcium carbonate.
Transportation and storage
It has strong irritant effect on eyes and moderate irritant effect on skin. Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. It should be stored separately from acids, ammonium salts, etc. Do not hit, roll or fall during handling. Pay attention to personal protection during sub loading and handling.

1. Used for flour treatment agent, transport agent, stabilizer, yeast nutrients, mineral nutrition enhancer.
