Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/CMC Introduction:
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-NA) is a kind of organic matter, chemical formula is [C6H7O2(OH)2OCH2COONa] N, is the carboxymethylated derivative of cellulose, is the most important ionic cellulose glue. Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is usually made of natural cellulose and caustic soda and a chloroacetic acid reaction after the preparation of an anionic polymer compound, molecular weight from thousands to millions. Cmc-na is a white fibrous or granular powder, odorless, tasteless, hygroscopic, easy to disperse in water to form a transparent colloidal solution.
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose/CMC usage:
Widely used in oil industry drilling mud treatment agent, synthetic detergent, organic detergent, textile printing and dyeing sizing agent, daily chemical products water-soluble adhesive, food industry thickener, ceramic industry adhesive, industrial paste, papermaking industry sizing agent, etc. Used as flocculant in water treatment, mainly used in wastewater sludge treatment, can improve the solid content of filter cake.
For Food industry:
Food grade for dairy drinks and seasonings, CMC can thicken, stabilize and improve taste. In addition, CMC is also used in ice cream, bread, cake, biscuit, instant noodle and fast paste food for product molding, taste improvement, water retaining and tenacity strengthening.
For Detergent Industry:
Effectively prevent washes from becoming contaminated after being washed by synthetic detergent. Also make washing liquid more viscous and the effect of washing more stable.
For Oil drillling Industry:
Widely used in fracturing fluid, drilling fluid and well cementing fluid as fluid loss controller and tackifier. It can protect the shaft wall and prevent mud loss thus enhance recovery efficiency.
