1. Quartz sand filter
The quartz sand filter can remove most of the suspended solids, colloids and granular mechanical impurities,
this sand filter is a kind of "physical - chemical" process, the water through granular materials when isolated filter water impurities and colloidal suspensions, so that the water is purified, the operation mode of the mechanical filter is manual control. So this multi-medium filter is an effective and indispensable process in the pure water purification and pretreatment.
2. Active carbon filter
Since most raw water is tap water, ground water or spring water, the content of residual chlorine in the water is high, and the low pressure composite reverse osmosis membrane has strict restrictions on residual chlorine, whose value must be less than or equal to 0.1mg/ L. Therefore, active carbon filter is set in the pretreatment to remove the residual chlorine in the raw water, Because the content of calcium and magnesium ions in raw water may be high, the Longoria index is positive. The desalting rate of reverse osmosis is as high as 97%, so the concentrated water side will produce calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate and other precipitates due to high concentration.So carbon filter can be effectively ensure the long-term, stable, safe and reliable operation of reverse osmosis device.
3. Ion exchange filter
Cationic resin used for water softening, primarily to remove hardness of water. The hardness of water is a major calcium (Ca2 +), magnesium (Mg2 +) ion composition, when containing the raw water hardness ions through the resin layer, the water of the Ca2 +,Mg2+ was exchanged resin adsorption, and other objects at the same time the quality of the release of sodium Na + ions flow from the softener in the water is removed from the softened water hardness ions.
