Pure Natural Allium sativum Garlic Extract Powder 1% 2% 5% Allicin
Allicin is an organic sulfur compound extracted from the bulb of the allium genus garlic in the allium family. Allicin is also found in Onions and other allium plants. Its scientific name is diallyl thiosulfonic ester and its chemical formula is C6H10OS2.
The solid agent is a white to light yellow liquid powder, while the liquid agent is a light yellow to brown volatile oily liquid with a strong garlic odor. It is decomposed during distillation and the aqueous solution is placed to form an oily precipitate. Insoluble in glycerol, propylene glycol, etc., can be mixed with ethanol, chloroform, ether, benzene. It's not stable for bases, it's stable for acids. The solution quickly fails when exposed to heat.
