In nature, titanium dioxide has three kinds of crystals: plate titanium, anatase and rutile.
The plate titanium type is anunstable crystal type and has no industrial value. Anatase type is referred to as type A, and rutile type is referred to as type R, both of which have stable lattice. They are important white pigments and porcelain glazes. Compared with other white pigments,they have superior whiteness, coloring power, covering power, weather resistance, heat resistance, and chemical stability,especially no toxicity.
