Application:
PTFE bellows can be used to connect mechanically short graphite and ceramic glass pipes, and can also be used as feed and discharge pipes for tank cars, storage tanks, containers or reaction kettles. Pipeline displacement, dimensional changes caused by other reasons or used to eliminate vibration of high frequency machinery. In special occasions, it can also be used as a tubular reactor or a thermal splicer, to a large extent to meet the needs of some special use environments.
1.Ptfe bellows compensator (also known as expansion joint) is mostly used in pipeline parts with strong corrosion/high temperature environmental media to compensate for the displacement and installation deviation of thermal expansion and contraction, and reduce the vibration of pipeline parts.
2.Chemical properties of PTFE bellows:
With excellent chemical inertness, PTFE bellows are practically insoluble in any industrial chemicals and solvents, even at elevated temperatures and pressures. However, PTFE bellows can react with fluorine, molten alkali metals, and molten sodium hydroxide. In addition, the PTFE bellows will not melt even if it is exposed to 200 degrees for up to a year. at elevated temperatures and prolonged exposure.
