Sandwich Glass
Laminated glass is a composite glass product consisting of two or more pieces of glass sandwiched with one or more layers of organic polymer intermediate film. After special high temperature preloading (or vacuuming) and high temperature and high pressure processing, the glass and intermediate film are permanently bonded into one.
Commonly used laminated glass intermediate films include PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc.
Laminated glass, as a safety glass, will not produce sharp fragments to hurt people after being broken by impact due to the bonding effect of PVB film sandwiched between two pieces of ordinary glass.
