The ladle turret is used to rotate the ladle to or out of the pouring position. Usually, the ladle rotation is automatically completed by starting the "ladle automatic replacement" button. In this case, the acceleration, deceleration and positioning of the ladle are completed by PLC system and travel switch or encoder. In addition, manual rotation mode can also be adopted. Because the turntable is provided with two rotary arms, multi-furnace continuous casting can be realized. Each arm can be lifted independently and both arms can rotate at the same time. The main drive is installed on the base, and drives the turntable to rotate through the meshing of the reducer and pinion with the external teeth of the slewing support. The load cell installed on the fork arm of ladle turret is protected by thermal shield to avoid thermal radiation, and the area where the load cell is located should be cooled by compressed air. At the pouring position, the rotating parts are fixed at the pouring position through the overload coupling to avoid damaging the driving part when replacing the ladle with a crane. Once the power is cut off, the hydraulic motor rotates the ladle out of the pouring position and onto the accident ladle. This operation is performed by a manual valve arranged on the pouring platform. In the ready position. Slide gate hydraulic cylinder of ladle is connected with slide gate and powered by slide gate hydraulic station. The rotating parts of ladle turret, such as slewing bearings, are lubricated by a centralized lubrication station, and various protective covers and walls are used to protect the turret structure from molten steel splashing. A ladle capping device is installed on the turntable.
