Product Description
Hydroxyapatite (HAP), also known as hydroxyapatite and basic calcium phosphate, is the natural mineralization of calcium apatite (Ca5 (PO4) 3 (OH)), but it is often written in the form of (Ca10 (PO4) 6 (OH) 2) to highlight that it is composed of two parts: hydroxy and apatite. OH - can be replaced by fluoride, chloride and carbonate ions to form fluoroapatite or chloroapatite, and the calcium ion can be replaced by various metal ions through ion exchange reaction to form M apatite corresponding to metal ions (M represents the metal ion replacing calcium ion).
Hydroxyapatite is the main inorganic component of human and animal bones. It can realize chemical bonding with the body tissue on the interface. It has a certain solubility in the body, can release ions harmless to the body, can participate in the metabolism in the body, can stimulate or induce bone hyperplasia, can promote the repair of defective tissue, and shows biological activity.
application area
