Measuring principle
The radar level antenna transmits narrow microwave pulses, which are transmitted downward through the antenna. After touching the surface of the measured medium, the microwave is reflected back and received again by the antenna system. The signal is transmitted to the electronic circuit and automatically converted into the object level signal (because of the extremely fast propagation speed of microwave, the time it takes for the electromagnetic wave to reach the target and reflect back to the receiver is almost instantaneous).
