A notebook ((also known as a notepad, writing pad, drawing pad, or legal pad) is a small book or binder of paper pages, often ruled, used for purposes such as recording notes or memoranda, writing, drawing or scrapbooking.
Sticky note is a small piece of paper with a re-adherable strip of glue on its back, made for temporarily attaching notes to
documents and other surfaces. A low-tack pressure-sensitive adhesive allows the notes to be easily attached, removed and even re-posted elsewhere without leaving residue. Originally small yellow squares, Sticky notes and related products are available in various colors, shapes, sizes and adhesive strengths.

The most easily understandable and consistent notebook sizes are those that use 'standard' paper sizes. These most commonly include the A series and B series, these come from ISO print standards, which means they are consistent.
In Australia, and many other nations, A4 is the most common paper size - it's the size we use in photocopiers, for example. It's also a common notebook size. A5 is also extremely common in notebooks. (In fact, the only countries this standard is not common is the USA, Canada & Mexico).
The B series of standard sizes is also quite common, especially in Japanese and Korean notebooks.
Sometimes a notebook brand isn't quite A5, for example, but is extremely close. Most people don't care, or won't notice, around 1cm difference in a notebook that we denoted A5. Also, the actual size of notebooks are based on client's requirement.
