Two types of hand stretch film manufacturing: blown or cast stretch film







  • Cast Stretch Film – Made by continuously feeding the polymer into a straight mold, it is often less expensive than alternatives due to lower production costs. A higher level of film clarity is another advantage of this fabrication.

  • Blown Stretch Film – Made by pumping a polymer through a circular die and then inflating it, it has high load and stretch capabilities. Additionally, blown film has higher tear resistance, making it ideal for packaging loads that contain sharp edges and corners
