.PC is an almost colorless glassy amorphous polymer with good optical properties. PC high molecular weight resin has high toughness, its flexural modulus can reach more than 2400MPa, and the resin can be processed into large rigid products. PC has poor hydrolysis resistance and cannot be used for products that are repeatedly subjected to high-pressure steam. The main performance defect of PC is that the stability of hydrolysis resistance is not high enough, it is sensitive to notch, resistance to organic chemicals, poor scratch resistance, and it will turn yellow when exposed to ultraviolet rays for a long time. PC is easily attacked by certain organic solvents. PC material has flame retardancy and oxidation resistance.
Polycarbonate is colorless and transparent, heat-resistant, impact-resistant, flame-retardant BI grade, and has good mechanical properties at normal operating temperatures. Compared with polymethyl methacrylate whose performance is close to that of polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate has good impact resistance, high refractive index, good processability, and has UL94 V-2 flame retardancy without additives. The wear resistance of materials is relative. If you compare ABS materials with PC materials, it means that PC materials have better wear resistance. However, compared with most plastic materials, the wear resistance of polycarbonate is relatively poor, at the middle and lower levels, so some polycarbonate devices used for wear-resistant applications require special surface treatment. It can also be divided into anti-static PC, conductive PC, fiber-added fire-resistant PC, UV-resistant and weather-resistant PC, food-grade PC, and chemical-resistant PC.

PC bottle (container) is transparent, light in weight, good impact resistance, resistant to certain high temperature and corrosive solution washing, as a recyclable bottle (container). PC and PC alloys can be used as computer racks, casings and auxiliary machines, and printer parts. Modified PC is resistant to high-energy radiation sterilization, cooking and baking disinfection, and can be used for blood sampling equipment, blood oxygenators, surgical instruments, kidney dialyzers, etc. PC can be used as helmets and hard hats, protective masks, sunglasses and sports protection blindfold. PC film is widely used in printed charts, pharmaceutical packaging, and membrane commutators.
