Brass/copper expanded metal mesh is a slit and stretched metal sheet to form a wide array of opening shapes. The opening shapes could be diamond, hexagon, square, scale hole and so on.
Material can be brass or copper, also can be aluminum, stainless steel,carbon steel with copper or brass coating. A square foot of raw material can produce two or three times or more area without scrap.

• Regular/Standard Expanded Metal is a finished product as it comes from the press. The strands and bonds are set in a uniform manner creating different size openings and thicknesses. This regular or raised configuration gives added strength and rigidity as well as slip resistance to the mesh.
• Flattened Expanded Metal is regular expanded metal which has been cold rolled leaving a flat,smooth surface.
