Description
Ammonium chloride, referred to as ammonium chloride, is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula NH4Cl, which is the ammonium salt of hydrochloric acid, mostly a by-product of the alkali-making industry. Nitrogen content 24% ~ 26%, white or slightly yellow square or octahedral small crystals, there are two types of powder and granular formulations, granular ammonium chloride is not easy to absorb moisture, easy to store, and powdered ammonium chloride is more used as a basic fertilizer for the production of compound fertilizer. It is a physiological acidic fertilizer, not suitable for application on acidic and saline soils because of more chlorine, not suitable for seed fertilizer, seedling fertilizer or foliar fertilizer, also not suitable for application on chlorine sensitive crops (such as tobacco, potato, citrus, tea tree, etc.). Ammonium chloride is used in paddy fields with high and stable fertilization efficiency, because chlorine can inhibit nitrification in paddy fields, but also help rice stalk fiber formation, increase toughness, reduce rice collapse and pest infestation
