Machine Introduction
During the 2017, IVIMA presents this newest High speed Disc Chipper,
The output rate of this disc chipper is 10 - 25t/h. This Disc type chippers are especially suitable for HDPE pipe into high quality HDPE chips. These chips are further processed where high quality PE chips are desired. This machine is a good
and necessary in the plastic recycling industry for big size HDPE pipe recycling.
The disc with horizontal bearing assembly has a diameter of max 3.6 mm and is equipped with max 15 knives. The chipper is equipped with a horizontal feeding device. Machine open-up is now performed by a frequency-controlled “pony motor”. Chips are discharged straight down after size reduction. Due to the intake characteristics of the chipping disc, the pipes are automatically drawn into the chipper without any additional draw-in rollers. This type of“drawing cut“ results in a low specific energy consumption during size reduction. The material feeding system allows for feeding of pipes up to 800 mm in diameter,
Any parts subject to wear and which are in direct contact with the pipes are made of wear-resistant material and are easily
exchangeable.
Generously dimensioned knife changing flaps allow for easy access to the chipping chamber for quick and safe exchange of the knives.
