BEGNARDI Winery was founded in 1972 and is now run by the second and third generations of the BEGNARDI family.
The BEGNARDI Winery has soils with ancient flavors and unspoiled nature that allow it to produce Great Wine appreciated all over the world.
The property covers about forty hectares of hilly terrain, the vineyards are planted in spurred cordon and partly in Guyot and allow the production of Great SuperTuscan Wines of great character and fruity and intense flavor.

PIGNA ROSSA SANGIOVESE RISERVA
The scrupulously selected grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in the second half of September and undergo a soft destemming-crushing process. Maceration on the skins has a variable duration of 15 to 20 days after which, deprived of the latter, it can begin its long aging in new wooden barrels.
The production of this extraordinary wine is limited because of the great quality of this 100% pure Sangiovese.
