Description
Silicon Slag is the floating material from smelting ferrosilicon and silicon metal, which is the stuff after being cleaned out of the furnace and collected on top. Because the silicon water in the furnace has been fully purified when smelting silicon metal and ferrosilicon, the content of silicon slag is mostly silicon, and the rest is oxide stuff. In the smelting and casting iron process, most need to use silicon to deoxidize, and raise the temperature of the furnace. Therefore, the silicon content of silicon slag can use to the smelting and casting process.
