Petroleum jelly is a semi-liquid mixture of alkylhydrocarbons or saturated hydrocarbons, also called petrolatol, which is
produced by fractional distillation of petroleum. Its state at room temperature between solid and liquid, because of different uses and brown, yellow, white three colors. Natural petroleum jelly is derived from residual oil concentrate such as alkane heavy oil. Artificial petroleum jelly is derived from a mixture of mineral oil thickened with pure earth wax or paraffin and paraffin grease. Petroleum jelly has a mineral oil odor, not a ker-osene odor. It can be used as raw material for medicine and cosmetics, and also for machine lubrication.
The scientific name of petroleum jelly, its main raw material is from the crude oil after atmospheric pressure and vacuum
