The leathers, engraved with laser technologies, come from all over the world and are not part of the typical industrial circuit of leather goods: it would be far from it, in terms of philosophy and sensibility.
With this unique interior design project, they are daily driven by curiosity, passion and the desire to give character and beauty to the environments in which we live.
Their showroom is in the heart of Roman Turin and the brand name is inspired by a dream film by one of the most famous Finnish directors.
Vegetable tanned leather matures and transforms over time. It is a rare material that embodies the signs of time as an expression of naturalness.
It is called "vegetable tanning" due to the use of vegetable tannins, obtained from the trunk and bark of trees. The extraction of these natural substances takes place in such a way as not to damage the wood heritage because it is waste from wood processing.
Vegetable tanned leather is biodegradable and hypoallergenic, free from chromium, metals and synthetic chemicals.
A vegetable tanned leather is such a natural product that it can be appreciated and recognized for its small signs, viens, for its perfume and for its shades of color. All these characteristics represent the authentic and tangible proof of a high quality product, which acquires value over time.

On the occasion of the Biennale Architettura 2023, Frank&Frank presents the GRAND TOUR, an installation of 13 linear meters of great visual impact. Starting from ancient travel stories, the project is projected into the future, evoking relationships betweenthe real, the digital and the material.
The installation will be visible in the Airport on the ground floor, from April to November, then participating to the discussion on “future laboratory”, the theme suggested by the Architecture Biennale.
