The function of the isolation switch
GW9-12 outdoor high-voltage isolation switch is suitable for cutting off and closing single-phase or three-phase circuits without load and voltage on 10kV high-voltage transmission and distribution lines.
The switch is designed for single-phase use in three-phase systems, with a simple, economical, and convenient structure.
The rated current of the switch is: 400; 600 and 1000A. They are all composed of a base, post insulators, conductive parts, and mechanism parts. Adopting a knife type structure to separate the switch and achieve the cutting and closing of the circuit. Each phase of the switch blade is composed of two conductive blades, with compression springs installed on both sides of the blades. Adjusting the height of the springs can obtain the required contact pressure for the switch blade. When the switch is opened or closed, an insulated operating mechanism can be used for closing movement, and the switch blade has a self-locking device.
