Tungsten rhenium thermocouple is a high temperature thermocouple. It has a good temperature-potential linear relationship, reliable thermal stability and can be used to directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam and gas medis. It can partially replace the Platinum-Rhenium thermocouple as a temperature measuring tool for high-tech metallurgical industry, high temperature electronic thermoelectric system structural engineering, space vehicle and nuclear reactor.
The relationship between the thermal potential of tungsten rhenium thermocouple and temperature conforms to the ZBN05003-88℃ graduation table, which is equivalent to ASTM696-84 standard. It can be used at 0~2300℃ in vacuum, reduction and inert atmosphere. Tungsten rhenium couple with special protective tube can also be used for a long time in oxidation atmosphere at 1600℃.
