Alumina cement/ Refractory cement
Alumina cement are cements consisting predominantly of hydraulic calcium aluminates. Alternative names are “aluminous cement”, “Calcium aluminate cements” and “Ciment fondu” in French. They are used in a number of small-scale, specialized applications.
Alumina cement is a kind of cementitious material with high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature. It has the characteristics of fast hardening, high strength, etc. Its main component is low calcium aluminate, so it has good sulfate corrosion resistance and is suitable for projects requiring sulfate corrosion resistance.Alumina cement will produce strong solid phase reaction with high temperature. Instead of hydration bonding, it adopts sintering bonding, so that it can still maintain high strength under high temperature.
