POM Granules RESIN
POM(polyformaldehyde resin) : polyformaldehyde is a linear polymer with no side chain, high density and high crystallinity. According to the different chemical structure in its molecular chain, it can be divided into two kinds of copolymer formaldehyde and copolymer formaldehyde. The important difference between the two is that the density, crystallinity and melting point of homopolyformaldehyde are high, but the thermal stability is poor, the processing temperature range is narrow (about 10℃),and the stability of acid and base is slightly lower; And copolymer formaldehyde density, crystallinity, melting point, strength are low, but good thermal stability, not easy to decompose, processing temperature range is wide (about 50℃), the acid and alkali stability is good. It is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties. Good physical, mechanical and chemical properties, especially excellent friction resistance. Commonly known as Sai Steel or take steel.
Scope of application
POM Application
1.Used as raw materials for organic chemicals, synthetic resins, and also as pharmaceutical fumigants.
2.Pesticides: synthetic acetochlor, butylachlor and glyphosate.
3.Paint: Synthetic high grade automotive paint.
4.Resin: synthetic urea-formaldehyde resin, phenolic resin, polyacetal resin, melamine resin, ion exchange resin and other adhesives.
5.Paper making: synthetic paper strengthening agent.
6.Casting: casting agent, synthetic casting adhesive.
7.Aquaculture: fumigation disinfectant.
8.Organic RAW MATERIALS: Used for the preparation of pentaERYTHRITol, trihydroxymethyl propane, glycerol, acrylic acid, methylacrylate, methacrylic acid, N-hydroxymethylacrylamide, alkyl phenol, methyl vinyl ketone, etc.
9.It is used in the pharmaceutical industry and also as a sterilizer.
