High Precision Low Noise High Viscosity Grease Gear Metering Pump
The Lakes Instruments GP Series Gear Metering Pump basically comprises a front plate, a center plate, two wear plates and a rear plates, the pairs of gear, a pump shaft and a drive shaft which are guided in high-precision bearings.
The port for inlet and outlet of the pumps are implemented on the rear plate. However, these can also be accommodated in a customised adapter block which is bolted to the pump.
To achieve the greatest precision, reproducibility and the best possible total efficiency, the clearances inside the pump are adapted depending on medium to be delivered, the differential pressure and the viscosity. With the use of suitable structural innovations this series can also be used to shear and friction sensitive media.
By individually adapting to the actual operating conditions and the structural design, high reproducible volumentric efficiencies can be achieved. Moreover, the GP gear dosing pump with it's special gear teeth supports low-pulsation dosing of various media.
The specific series including glue metering pump, coating metering pump, spinning metering pump, auxiliary metering pump, hot melt metering pump and etc...It widely used in pharmaceutical filling, food filling, chemical dosing, paint and coating, PU dispensing machine, foaming equipment, epoxy resin, hot melt adhesive, polyurethane equipment and other industrial and chemical process and control.
1)Volume principle: The gear metering pump is a volumetric principle. The liquid is sucked into the suction chamber through a group of engaged gears under the action of the pressure difference, and then the medium is discharged from the cavity as it rotates.
2) Precise metering: The precision of the gear metering pump is very high, and the volume discharged per revolution is constant, so the flow rate of the metering pump can be obtained by adjusting the speed of the gear metering pump.
2) Quantitative addition: The displacement of the gear metering pump per revolution is fixed. Therefore, by adjusting the rotational speed of the gear metering pump and then controlling the number of revolutions of the gear metering pump, quantitative addition can be performed with an accuracy of 0.3% to ensure the accuracy of its addition.
