Products Description

These sweet potatoes are produced in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Ibaraki Prefecture is famous for being the second largest producer in Japan.
The main varieties are Beniharuka, Beni Azuma, and Silk Sweet.
The most widely grown variety in Ibaraki Prefecture is "Beniharuka," which is characterized by its rich sweetness and is very popular for baked potatoes.
"Beni Azuma" has a soft and flaky texture.
"Silk Sweet" has moist and smooth texture.

Sweet potatoes range in size from S to 3L, with L and 2L being the main sizes.
Depending on how well the sweet potatoes are done, there is a pattern of ranks, such as excellent , good and others ranks.
If you want to stock large quantities, please let us know as soon as possible, as we can accommodate large lots if you contact the production area about six months in advance.
From June to July, sweet potatoes from other regions may be included instead of those from Ibaraki, Japan.

Japanese sweet potatoes are creamy and delicious, almost perfect.
They are sweet and rich in fiber.
They can be steamed, baked, made into pies, or fried in oil and made into chips.
In Japan, it is common to eat sweet and soft and flaky baked sweet potatoes in the winter.
Although sweet potatoes are a vegetable, Japanese sweet potatoes are sweet enough to be used as a sweet treat, which is also popular.
