Description

Fast Edge Pulse Generator 180 picosecond rising edge

rise time parameters of the 1MHz and 50kHz versions are the same, but the frequency of the signal is different. If you only measure the bandwidth of the oscilloscope, you can choose the 1Mhz frequency version. If you want to measure the bandwidth of the oscilloscope and want to measure the cable length, you can choose the 50kHz version. The 1MHz version has a better signal.

This device can be used to measure the bandwidth of an oscilloscope within 2GHz. The calculation formula for bandwidth within 1G is BW=0.35/rise time, and above 1G uses BW=0.4/rise time.

When the rise time of the oscilloscope itself is lower than 180 ps, the measured rise time is greater than 180 ps. When the bandwidth of the oscilloscope is greater than 2GHz, the rise time of this module will be measured to be about 180 picoseconds.
