How it Works
Swappable clear glass (STG) is composed of float glass, EVA and Yuguang intelligent clear film (STF) to form a laminated glass. The science is that when the STF is turned off, the liquid crystal molecules fall into a random state, allowing diffused light to pass through the sandwich structure and providing instant privacy. When it is energized, a voltage drives the liquid crystal molecules in a direction perpendicular to the film, and visible light passes through the STF to become transparent.

Switchable Transparent Film(STF)
STF is a sort of light modulating material comprised of polymer dispersed liquid crystal and flexible ITO film. When it is powered off, visible light scatters through the STF and the film turns opaque. When it is powered on, visible light transmits the STF and the film turns transparent. STF can be used in SA-STF or STG.
