1. Equipment Usage
The wheelset bearing running-in test bench is a supporting equipment in the bogie inspection room of the maintenance main workshop of the rolling stock depot and comprehensive base. This test bench is suitable for the routine running-in test of subway vehicle wheelset drive units (wheels, axles, axle boxes, and gearboxes) during idle running. One wheelset is tested for idle running in at a time, which can run in the wheelset axle box bearings and gearboxes, as well as detect the impact frequency vibration of axle box bearings and drive bearings Temperature rise to determine whether the bearing itself and installation are normal. It is also used for internal cleaning of wheel sets and gearboxes of various types of subway vehicles.
2. Main functions
1) The electrical control system of the equipment adopts advanced and reliable computer systems as the core, and the equipment can set the running in test conditions through computers. The test work can be completed by 1-2 operators.
2) The system adopts frequency conversion technology to ensure smooth and reliable starting and braking.
3) The device can achieve forward and reverse running in, with two operating modes: manual and automatic. The test bench is equipped with a gearbox lifting/top mounted fixing device to meet the fixation of the gearbox during the running in process of the high-speed train wheel set.
4) The setting of running in parameters is flexible and convenient, and operators can adjust the upper limit of temperature rise, running in time, and maximum running in speed according to process changes.
5) The height of the equipment is required to be below the basic ground level, with protective barriers installed around it. The equipment requires a section of steel rail to be connected to the maintenance line, so that the wheel set can be directly moved to the equipment for fixation.
6) Equipped with high-speed oil washing and low-speed oil washing functions, with braking function after oil washing, reducing wheelset idle time, and adjustable braking force; The equipment reserves an interface for cleaning the bearing axle box.
