Product Description
Vaseline is mainly a chemically inert hydrocarbon and has no bactericidal ability; but it is not hydrophilic and will not be absorbed. When applied to the skin, it can form a film on its surface to prevent moisture from evaporating and losing, and to keep the skin moist. State, prevent bacteria from the air from contacting the skin, thereby reducing the possibility of infection.
White translucent ointment, with a slippery feel, with a certain degree of stringiness and adhesion. No smell when rubbed on the skin. Basically insoluble in water and ethanol (96%), soluble in chloroform, ethanol and solvent gasoline (boiling point 40 ºC-60 ºC)
