♦ Hydrocolloid dressing
Hydrocolloid Dressing consists of a semipermeable polyurethane film coated with hydrocolloid containing carboxy-methylcellulose (CMC). A cohesive gel is produced when in contact with wound exudation to provide a moist wound healing environment.
Hydrocolloid Wound Dressings are indicated for the management of wounds that have light to moderate exudate, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, superficial wounds(minor burns, abrasions, cuts, lacerations, granulating wounds).
