Ductile iron pipe
Ductile iron pipe refers to the pipe made by high-speed centrifugal casting of centrifugal ductile iron machine after casting molten iron above No. 18 with the addition of nodularizer, referred to as ball pipe, ductile iron pipe and ductile cast pipe. Mainly used for the transportation of tap water, it is an ideal material for tap water pipelines.
It has the essence of iron, the performance of steel, excellent anti-corrosion performance, good ductility, and easy installation. It is mainly used for water supply and gas transmission in municipal industrial and mining enterprises.
In the medium and low pressure pipe network (generally used below 6MPa), the ductile iron pipe has the characteristics of safe and reliable operation, low damage rate, convenient and fast construction and maintenance, and excellent anti-corrosion performance. The newly developed "Yanshield" series pipelines are suitable for trenchless construction and are widely used in the construction of pipelines crossing rivers, roads and buildings.
