A7:All belong to polyethylene,but the molecular weight is different.High-density polyethylene is polyethylene with a molecular weight of 1.5 million or less,and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is polyethylene with a molecular weight of 1.5 million or more.
Q8:How to detect UHMWPE?
A8:Specific gravity method:The specific gravity of pure ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMW PE)products is between 0.93-0.95,which is lighter than water and can float on water.The specific gravity of UHMW PE(UHMW PE)products filled with other materials will change.Temperature method:The real pure ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene product will not melt or deform at 200 degrees Celsius,but will become soft.UHMWPE products filled with other materials will deform at 200 degrees Celsius.
