Description:
Lansing Airport Solutions Inset Runway Threshold Light fixture is part of a complete range of LED fixtures for runway and taxiway lighting systems. This fixture is high intensity , Uni-directional and high-performing Green LED lights, providing at least 75,000 hours of service life at full 6.6A operation,suitable for CAT I/II/III all weather operations.
The fixture meets the FAA style 3 and ICAO style 4 specifications which states fixtures to be ≤6.3 mm protrusion. The JCL320 range has a protrusion above grade is only 6.0mm. This extremely low protrusion helps to prevent the light becoming damaged during runway cleaning activities especially in winter conditions
Improved optics and reinforced mechanical design are paired with smart electronics that offer multiple control and monitoring options, allowing airports to decide which configuration best suits their operational needs.
An optional integrated communication module with new state-of-the-art technology provides superior immunity to noise and dramatically increases data bandwidth between the control and monitoring system and the light fixtures. A ‘fail open’ monitoring facility is available which operates, should the LED array stop working with either an open, or short circuit condition.
To prevent silt, water or dust accumulating in front of the lens and effecting the photometric performance, no negative slope is present in the design.
Designed to meet the harsh environment the fixtures will operate in a temperature range of -55 °C to +55°C (-67 °F to +131°F) and has an ingress protection of IP68.
