Brief Introduction

Product Description

Iron oxide blue is a basic kind of inorganic pigment that color tone can vary from dark blue to bright blue depending on the composition and particle size. Its color is brilliant and coloring power is strong, while covering power is slightly poor. The powder is hard with good light resistance, however poor alkali resistance as well as high heat resistance. When temperature exceeds 150 ℃, the water of crystallization will be lost and it will be decomposed into red pigment. It is widely used in construction materials such as colored cement, colored tiles, colored mortar, artificial marble and so on. It can be also used as colourant in both waterborne and solvent-based paints and coatings. It can be applied for plastic and rubber products’ coloring as well.
