1> Short-end (SE) Snap Tie measure 4-3/4” at each end, plus the wall thickness for conditions with single on both sides;
2> Long-end (LE) Snap Tie measure 8-1/4” at each end, plus the wall thickness for conditions with waler / strongback on both sides;
3> Odd-end (OE) San Tie measure 4-3/4” at one end and 8-1/4” at the other end, plus wall thickness for conditions with a single waler on one side and waler/strongback on the other;
4> Galvanized Steel Snap-tie Wedge is designed to resist corrosion and hold up to both standard and heavy snap ties for any sized job, can be reused time and again without performance suffering;

Installation Instructions


1.\tDrill holes in plywood 1/8" larger than the snap tie head (usually 5/8" diameter drill bit will be required) ;
2.\tPlace the ends of snap ties through the holes in the plywood;
3.\tPlace the bracket (Jahn "A", Jahn "C" or wedge) on the tie; 
4.\tThe proper tie head position is at the midpoint or higher of the wedge slot. Correct spacing between double wales is 5/8" to 3/4";
5.\tJahn "A" bracket is utilized to hold a single wale and can be installed before or after the wales have been positioned.
