Paper Making Machinery Cast Iron Dryer Cylinder Yankee Cylinder for Paper Processing Machine
Product introduction
The dryer cylinder is used as a key component for paper drying .
Dryer cylinder, heads and journals are made of special cast iron. Separate journals are bolted onto the dryer heads, Dryer shells are ground on the outside and turned on the inside, while all dryer journals with steam or condensate pipes have insulation sleeves. The inner surface have grooves for the stationary siphones, the front side ends of all dryers contain manholes.
The main parts of dryer cylinder include: shell,dryer bars,syphon, manhole cover, shell head, spherical roller bearing, steam joint ,etc.
The saturated steam introduced from the steam joint condenses inside the dryer, and the released heat causes the temperature of the dryer to rise, thereby heating the sheet coated on the surface of the roll shell. Heat is transferred to the paper during contact between the paper and the dryer surface. The steam releases heat and condenses to produce a large amount of condensed water, which is discharged.
