In “off state” when no electrical power is applied on the smart film, the light is absorbed and scattered by the Liquid Crystal layer, so the film looks opaque (milky, grey or black). In “on state” the light goes straight through the film, so the film looks transparent.
2.Can i get a sample before bulk order?
Yes, it is ok. Sample is free, but freight should be prepaid.
3. Is smart film energy efficient?
Yes, it's a green product that only consumes 6 W/㎡.
4.What is the difference between standard smart film and ultra clear smart film?
Standard type PDLC smart film is in different transparency and haze comparing with ultra clear type PDLC smart film. The latter is more transparent when it is in “on state”. Please compare them by our catalogue for more.
