Coal carbon raiser
Coal carbon raiser is made from washed “ Taixi” anthracite coal in vertical shaft furnaces under 1300℃, also called Calcined Anthracite Coal, Recarburizer, etc. It has the characteristic of low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, high fixed carbon, high mechanical strength, high chemical activity, high absorptivity of carbon and strong oxidation resistance. Therefore, it was already widely used in metallurgical industry instead of calcined petroleum coke.
Applications
1. Calcined anthracite is frequently used as a recarburizer in ladle and blast furnaces in steel mills，it can increase the quantity of scrap steel andreduce the quantity of scrap iron, or use no scrapiron at all, which need the fixed carbon achieve 95%at least.
2.As raw material of electrode paste making.
