IV Cannula fixation dressing can be used to cover and protect catheter sites and to secure devices to the skin. Other intravascular catheters and percutaneous devices. Excellent adhesion, yet gentle to the skin.
Made of transparent polyurethane film. Ideal for the fixation of intravascular devices such as catheters and cannulas. The film ensures excellent fixation of the cannula so that the patient can move freely with the cannula.
Features
Viral Barrier:
1. Open package and remove sterile dressing.
2. Pre-cut tape strips can be used:
* Under catheter or hub to protect skin.
* Over catheter or hub, to enhance catheter stability.
* To secure IV tubing or to stabilize catheter tubing.
3. Remove backing paper and position dressing over catheter site at the desired location.
5. Do not stretch the dressing during application as tension may cause skin trauma.
6. Slowly remove the frame while firmly smoothing down the dressing edges to maximize fixation.
