 LONGi's wet drum magnetic separator ranges from 650GS to 7000GS in magnetic intensity. It is suitable for concentration of ferromagnetic mineral like magnetite and heavy media recovery. LONGilaunched the worldwide largest wet drum separator, 1500mm diameter and 5000mm width with capacity up to 400 t/h, in 2011.

Structure

Wet LIMS-Concurrent (CTS)

CTS is basically used as primary separation (cobber), “working horse” for large capacities and extremely coarse feeds (0-12m), mainly in iron ore industry

 Wet LIMS-Countercurrent (CTB)

CTB used as: cleaner and finisher for multistage concentration of magnetic iron ore. Feeds sizes 0-3mm.

 Wet LIMS-Counter rotation (CTN)

CTN used as cobber and rougher mainly in the iron ore industry, and dense media separator, accepting higher flow-rates than DM/DMHG.
