You can see without it clipped into this device, the seat belt rests right against my neck and high across my chest. My throat is STILL sore from my wreck, nearly two weeks ago now. The second photo shows the belt clipped into the adjuster resting where it’s meant to- on my shoulder.
It looks like I can leave this thing on and it doesn’t keep the band from retracting. It looked bulky when I first got it, but It didn’t bother me at all while I was driving. It looks well made and seems sturdy.
Not only do I think this will be super helpful if (god forbid!!!) Im ever in a crash again, but will also just make my daily driving a lot more comfortable. I used to spend countless times yanking the belt off my neck over and over during my commute.
