High Precision Bearing Angular contact ball bearing double/single row
Angular contact ball bearing has high limit rotational speed, they can carry radial load and axial load simultaneously, they can also withstand purely radial load. The axial load carrying capacity depends on the magnitude of contact angle and increases with increasing contact angle. Since the rigidity of single-row angular contact ball bearings can be increased by pre-loading, they are often used in the main spindles of machine tools, for which high running accuracy is required.
Single row angular contact ball bearings can carry axial load acting in one direction only. In many applications, angular contactball bearings in pairs or multi-arrangement should be used.
Angular contact ball bearing:
*Double row angular contact bearings can be used in industries such as printing machinery, oil pump, transmission and gearboxes.
*Since these bearing have a contact angle, they can sustain significant axial loads in one direction together with radial loads. Because of their design, when a radial load is applied, an axial force component is produced; therefore, two opposed bearings or a combination of more than two must be used.
