Adipic acid, also known as fertilizer acid, is an important organic binary acid with the structural formula HOOC (CH2) 4COOH. It can undergo salifying reaction, esterification reaction, amidation reaction, etc., and can be condensed with binary amine or Diol to form high molecular polymer, etc. Adipic acid is a dicarboxylic acid of industrial significance, which plays an important role in chemical production, organic synthesis industry, lubricant manufacturing, etc., and its output ranks second among all dicarboxylic acids 

 

 

Main Application:

Adipic acid is mainly used as the raw material of nylon 66 and engineering plastics, as well as for the production of various ester products. It is also used as the raw material of poly (Carbamate) elastomers, and as an acidifier for various foods and beverages. Its role is sometimes better than citric acid and Tartaric acid.

 

Adipic acid is also a raw material for yeast purification, adhesives, synthetic leather, synthetic dyes and spices.

 

Adipic acid has a soft and lasting sour taste, and the pH value changes slightly in a large concentration range, so it is a good pH regulator. According to GB2760-2007, the maximum usage of this solid beverage is 0.01g/kg; It can also be used for jelly and jelly powder, with a maximum usage of 0.01g/kg for jelly; When used for jelly powder, the dosage can be increased according to the mixing ratio.
