Needle roller bearings are bearings with cylindrical rollers that are small in diameter relative to their length. The modified roller/raceway profile prevents stress peaks to extend bearing service life.

Needle Roller Bearings are equipped with thin and long rollers (roller length is 3~10 times of diameter, diameter is generally not more than 5mm), so the radial structure is compact, its inner diameter and load capacity are the same as other types of bearings, the outer diameter is the smallest, especially suitable for the radial installation size is limited by the support results. According to different occasions of use, bearings without inner ring or needle roller and cage assembly can be selected. At this time, the journal surface and shell hole surface matching with the bearing are directly used as the inner and outer rolling surface of the bearing. In order to ensure the load capacity and running performance are the same as that of the bearing with ring, the hardness, machining accuracy and surface quality of the raceway surface of the shaft or shell hole should be similar to that of the bearing ring. This kind of bearing can only bear radial load.
