Magnesium carbonate
This product is white single crystal or amorphous powder, non-toxic, tasteless, stable in the air. Relative density 2.1 light 6.Slightly soluble in water, aqueous solution is alkaline. Solubility in water was 1.02% (15 C). Soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, in case of dilute acid that is released carbon dioxide decomposition. Function of Magnesium carbonate
1. Used in the manufacturing of magnesium salts, magnesium oxide, fireproof coatings, inks, glass, toothpaste, rubber fillers, etc. Used as flour improvers, bread leavening agents, etc. in food. [3]
