How to Choose the filter Bag
As a general rule, Pulse Jet and Plenum Pulse cleaning systems utilize needle felt medias, while Shaker and Reverse Air systems use woven medias. Medias are manufactured from a variety of man-made fibers and are selected based on a number of factors including: operating temperature, chemical components in the dust stream, abrasiveness of the dust being handled as well as other characteristics of the particular systems usage. A number of treatments are available to improve dust discharge on the cleaning cycle, improve the filter efficiency of the media, to add flame retardant qualities and other specialized applications.
