MT7688 WiFi Module Overview
HCR88AN integrates 802.11n MAC and baseband, 1 2.4GHz wireless broadcasting device and front-end module, 1 580MHz MIPS CPU, and 1 high-speed Ethernet PHY. This module only requires an external 3.3V power supply to operate, making it suitable for low-power, low-cost, and highly integrated AP electronic devices.
Under the 802.11n Wi Fi standard, HCR88AN can achieve a data transmission speed of 144Mbps at 20MHz and 150Mbps at 40MHz. This module supports bridging, AP/Client, and gateway modes. Its high performance can handle various advanced applications, such as routers, security, and VoIP.
HCR88AN has multiple interfaces and supports various applications, such as USB ports for accessing external storage and 3G/TLE modems; Especially in the field of IOT, it has a wide range of applications.



MT7688 WiFi Module Features
■ The module is based on MTK’s MT7688AN main chip solution. The main frequency is up to 580MHz, with 64MB DDR2 RAM and 8MB SPI FLASH;
■ Conforms to IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless network protocol, supports three working modes of bridging, routing, and access point.
■ Adopt 1x1 MIMO (Multiple input multiple output) architecture, wireless signal multiplex transmission and reception, transmission rate up to 150Mbps
■ Achieve a variety of communication transmission, input and output control, intelligent control of IOT applications, convenient for debugging and product development
■ Multiple GPIOs, 1 UART interface, 1WAN, 3LAN/4LAN wired network port “stamp hole” and “pin” dual design external connection method two IPEX sockets, freely configurable antenna type
