Ductile iron pipe
Ductile iron pipes are generally large in diameter, thick in wall, brittle in texture, low in strength and cheap in price. They are economical water supply pipes with a normal service life of 20 ~ 25 years. Ductile iron pipe is a kind of cast iron pipe,which has the essence of iron and the properties of steel. The metallographic structure of annealed ductile iron pipe is ferrite plus a small amount of pearlite. It has good mechanical properties, excellent corrosion resistance, good ductility, good sealing effect and simple installation.
